I got an error saying: "Applicaton 'LCC2' has caused the following error: Application 'Synsopos.app' could not be started. Then, I quit Sibelius, and tried to open the eLicenser Control Center, without opening any other app in the middle. I was not using VSL sounds (using NotePerformer 2 instead), but the eLicenser could be seen, and no error messages did appear. Restarted the Mac, started Sibeslius, everything worked fine. I downloaded the latest eLicenser Control Center software (version of October 10), installed it, but it could not solve my issue. The eLicenser was not even seen by the eLicenser Control Center, but Sibelius could start. The Steinberg Library Manager will be started automatically and offers the installation of all vstsound files in the same folder. I force-quit Synsopos.app, quit Sibelius, restarted it. Double-click on one of the downloaded vstsound files. When trying to start Sibelius 6.2, I got the usual set of error messages from the eLicenser. The USB-eLicenser is a copy protection device which is required by certain Steinberg products, including versions of Cubase, Nuendo and WaveLab released. My main audio interface is a Steinberg one, so it would be interesting to discover there is an issue between its driver and the Steinberg eLicenser driver. The issues happen randomly, and I can't find a recurring pattern. notes are correctly spaced and legible, but you can also control system breaks manually. The issue can easily be resolved by installing the latest eLicenser Control Center. Whenever I go to paste the Activation Code in the eLCC it brings up a window displaying my eLicenser with the correct serial and everything, but it has a red circle with a line through it as if it isn't available.ĭown at the bottom of the "Select eLicenser" window, next to a yellow exclamation mark, it says "Currently, there is no eLicenser connected to your computer which you can download your license to. I feel like I've done the whole 9 yards of basically unplugging and plugging back in. I have Uninstalled then reinstalled all the software, bot licenser and Cubase, and set the eLicenser to run as administrator.
